Landscape Installation
You Reap What You Sow. In Between Landscape installation
A satellite installation developed from TAB 2026’s symbolic opening action, held on 2 June on the roof of Tallinn Linnahall in collaboration with the Estonian Landscape Architects’ Union.
The project began with planting the seed of TAB 2026, asking what we sow into urban space and what kind of future we hope to grow from it. The installation will be presented again at the TAB opening on 9 September, highlighting the time, care, and transformation that have taken place in between. The installation has been planted into linnahall’s plantation boxes, which guide the public into the main exhibition space.
Through planted material and spatial elements, the installation reflects on urban space as a living environment shaped by decisions, maintenance, and responsibility. It connects architecture, landscape architecture, and ecology, extending TAB 2026’s theme “How much?” to questions of care, time, and the futures we choose to cultivate.
The project curators are Maarja Gustavson and Maali Roomet-Allese.
