New Future for Linnahall

Estonia has fallen behind its neighbouring countries in terms of conference tourism and opportunities to host large-scale concerts. Linnahall has the potential to become an internationally significant conference and event centre and a new Estonian success story.

Drawing on experiences from other countries, the panel will discuss the future possibilities of Linnahall. What are the risks and lessons associated with such a development? What kind of timeline could be expected? How is conference tourism evolving around the world?

Panelists:

  • Julianne Jammers, CEO of the SwissTech Convention Center
  • Sven Bossu, CEO of AIPC – the International Association of Convention Centres
  • Kadri Karu, Managing Director of the Estonian Convention Bureau
  • Helen Sildna, Founder and Head of Tallinn Music Week
  • Jaan Heinsoo, Head of Economic Partnerships and Foreign Investments at Tallinn Strategy Centre

The discussion will be moderated by Johannes Tralla.

The event will be held in English. Admission is free, but advance registration is required.
