Louis I. Kahn and Residential Architecture – an international exhibition at the Kuressaare Town Hall Gallery. An exhibition of Kahn’s private residences, which also features a selection of works by Alvar Aalto. The exhibition fosters a substantive dialogue between these two giants of 20th-century architecture and broadens the public’s understanding of the diversity of modernism. It is noteworthy that Kahn and Aalto had several points of collaboration in their professional careers, and there were also parallels in their personal lives.
